Make Delicious Strawberry Tiramisu at Home in Just 5 easy steps!
Ingredients:
- 500 ml heavy cream (33% fat)
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 100 g white chocolate, melted and cooled
- 220 g curd, grated
- 220 g mascarpone cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large pack of Savoiardi cookies (ladyfingers)
- 4 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Cream Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the melted and cooled white chocolate.
- Add the grated curd, mascarpone cheese, and vanilla extract to the whipped cream mixture. Stir until well combined and smooth.
2. Prepare the Strawberry Layer:
- Wash and slice the fresh strawberries. Set aside a few for garnishing.
- In a small bowl, combine the orange juice and lemon juice. This mixture will be used to dip the Savoiardi cookies.
3. Assemble the Tiramisu:
- Quickly dip each Savoiardi cookie in the orange-lemon juice mixture. Be careful not to soak them too much to avoid making them soggy.
- Arrange a layer of dipped cookies in the bottom of your serving dish (an 8x8 inch dish works well).
- Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the cookies.
- Add a layer of sliced strawberries over the cream.
- Repeat the layers (cookies, cream, strawberries) until you've used up all your ingredients, finishing with a layer of cream on top.
4. Chill and Serve:
- Cover the tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best results.
- Before serving, garnish the top with the reserved strawberry slices.
